DVArchive is entirely free and always will be. Some folks have asked for a way to show their appreciation with a donation. If you 'd like to express your appreciation in a monetary way, donations are always welcome. However, they are entirely optional!

While DVArchive is platform independent, there are different installations that can make using a specific platform with DVArchive a bit easier. If you are comfortable installing Java based apps, you can just download the basic install. Otherwise, feel free to install one targeted for your computers operating systems.
Reminder: You MUST have Java installed and working on your computer before DVArchive will work. You can download Java from Suns website at http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads (download only the JRE version).

plugin This Plugin only works for Meedio on Windows based systems. It will allow you to view all ReplayTV/DVArchives on your LAN, review the shows recorded/stored on them and play those shows on your Meedio PC. You must have DVArchive V3.1 or later running and have VideoLAN client installed (details of which version and download sites in the included README.txt) |

upgrades, download this and extract it into the directory DVArchive is
already installed in. For new installs, download and extract it into a new directory. For windows users, you'll probably want to use a directory like C:\Program Files\DVArchive You'll also want to create a shortcut to the DVArchive.jar file (which is what you double click to launch DVA). |
